Kitten

This is a post all about Kitten. (Yes, very creative name, I know.) But she's got an attitude! I sure love her of course. :)

Baby little Kitten

She loves her "suckie" and uses it like a binky. When she was little I made her a yarn ball thinking she'd love it as a toy, but she literally sucks on it any chance she gets, even still!

Climbing to the top shelf of the closet just wasn't good enough, gotta get to the highest possible place to take a nap!
BABY KITTEN! So fluffy and nice and cute. I'm wondering if someone secretly exchanged this little thing for the feisty cat she is now?

I'm guessing she didn't want to be bugged since her paw's over her eyes.....

Oops- "accidentally" woke her up...

Right after her hair cut. It's kinda scary looking here, but about a week later, she looked great! :)

Color Festival 2011

We went to the Holi Krishna festival in Spanish Fork again this year. It's basically a Hindu celebration of Spring where everyone gets bags of "color" (it's like a corn starch, perfume powder) and throw it at each other. There is music, food, and dancing and celebrating. We went last year too and now McKel and Chris live right down the street from the temple so we wanted to go again this year too. It was fun, until someone threw some chalk at me and I had my mouth totally open and I ended up like choking and throwing up pink chalk. (Gross huh!?) But after I was able to rinse my mouth out I was ready for some more fun!

Brandon and I

This is the crowd! I didn't do a very good job on picture taking because the real celebration was about 6 feet to the right of this little crowd. Ha ha!

HONK HONK!

In my apartment complex there are ducks and geese EVERYWHERE! And the other day I could hear Kitten in my room meowing and like scratching at the door....

That's when I saw this!

Those dang geese! I hate them! They are so loud (possibly mean!) and when I yelled at them to "SCAT!" They sat on the parking port and honked at me for a good 30 minutes. I guess they just wanted the duck bread I had left on the patio.

Babysitting the Bateman Boys

Remember on Friday how I babysat the cutest little Bateman boys? Well, they are just so dang cute and I had so much fun playing with them! One of my favorite parts was when Bridger pulled his pants up to his chin (his jammies were just a little too big) and he was totally acting like it was normal and would be like, "Hey, wanna play with me?" and then just BUST up laughing because his pants were just so silly! It was great! And that is totally something I would do! :) I love it! But another part of that night that I loved was when we were watching Toy Story Blake needed to sit on "buh buh's" (Bridger's) lap. Cute boys!

Superbowl Sunday

Ok, so just trying to catch up with the pictures I have on my camera... This was our "Superbowl party" this year. We had a really fun time! We went down to Salem to visit McKel, Chris, and Bella. The funny thing is that the Superbowl was on FOX this year, and even though Chris and McKel have cable, for some reason FOX doesn't come through. So at our Superbowl party we didn't even watch the Superbowl! But, we still had a great time! And, isn't this the cutest picture of Kel and Bella?

Deer Friends

Brandon and I go to Idaho quite a bit. We stay with his cousin Jarem on the "family farm." Jarem moved in and started taking care of the place when Brandon's grandparents passed away. Anyway, Brandon has some land out there and he's got some old "project" cars and a little camper/trailer inherited from his grandpa that we've been cleaning up and hoping to go camping in this summer. Well, on the last drive to Idaho we saw that the deer were out. I saw this same thing last year while going up to Rigby and couldn't believe it, but didn't have a camera so I'm glad I was able to grab a picture this year! It's so crazy how many deer there are... literally like hundreds! You can see the little brown dots- those are them! And it goes on for miles and miles of herds like this:

Well Hello!

I decided I need to bring my blog back. (I had one about a year ago that I deleted.) I was babysitting the Bateman boys last night and came across Heather's blog books and realized this is a really great way to journal, and I know in 5 or 10 years from now, I'll look back and I won't regret it.Another reason I've decided to start it up because I deleted my facebook page recently and I didn't realize how much I liked having a place to share what's going on in my life.

Reason for deleting facebook: tired of "caring" (sheesh, almost obsessing!) about people that I hardly even knew in high school, old job acquaintances, and my brothers and sisters friends (that I honestly barely know). I must admit, I miss hearing about my family members around the world and my good friends. So assume if you are reading this, that you must be pretty stinkin' cool and I really care about you. :)
